About ACCA

Our Mission

To enhance the quality of life for all Allegheny City Central residents.

Our Vision

Through 2020, ACCA will strengthen our neighborhood’s unique culture by engaging all residents and encouraging commerce through events, programs, and outreach.

Allegheny City Central Association is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization incorporated in 1970 as “Central Northside Neighborhood Council.”

Led by a volunteer board of directors, all of whom are residents, ACCA has a long and successful history as the driving force behind the transformation of the community. In cooperation with private and public partners, we develop housing, guide public space and public safety improvements, initiate youth development programs, and lead historic preservation efforts.

Our record is solid. Our financials are strong. But it’s people who are the foundation of everything we do.

Whether you’re an individual, business, or developer with an interest in improving our neighborhood, we encourage you to get involved. Visit our community. Attend ACCA meetings. Become a member. Join a committee.
