City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue, is the permanent home for City of Asylum programming and the arts. It promises to be a hub for Pittsburgh’s readers and writers, jazz and small-scale music and performance, and artistic experimentation. It is a home for diverse voices from around the globe – a place where Pittsburgh meets the world and the world meets Pittsburgh. August Wilson House celebrates America’s greatest playwright with a new web series of insider interviews called “Actors Talk August,” a new online series of short interviews. This program features leading August Wilson actors, both national and regional, interviewed by Chris Rawson, veteran Pittsburgh Post-Gazette theater critic, who chronicled Wilson’s career and came to know him well. This debut interview will feature actors Eugene Lee and Wali Jamal.
