Do you want to get an up-close look at the new Northeast Fountain in Allegheny Commons Park? Join staff of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy on one of their strolls through Allegheny Commons to see the progress being made and learn about future plans.
At this Northside community-centered event, participants will meet at the Northeast Fountain Project site, at the intersection of Sandusky Street and North Avenue, for hot cider and doughnuts at 5:00 pm. Following the tour, there will be a visit to one of Northside’s favorite places! You are invited to RSVP to one of the three tours being offered:
- October 10 from 5:00 to 6:30: Visit The Pittsburgh Banjo Club at Allegheny Elks Lodge #339
- October 11 from 5:00 to 6:30: Visit Allegheny City Brewing
- October 15 from 5:00 to 6:30: Visit Max’s Allegheny Tavern
The tours are free. All ages are welcome, but only tour participants who are 18 years and older may enter the active Northeast Fountain construction site.
