Workplace learning is critical for success in any career. For youth, having a job is not only an important step toward adulthood, it is a key component of a successful future. Partner4Work is proud to partner with Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh in the Learn and Earn Summer Youth Employment Program.
The Learn and Earn Summer Youth Employment Program is currently accepting applications for employment. Youth are eligible to apply if:
- They are a resident of the City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County
- They will be age 14-21 on June 19, 2017 (birthday must be between 6/20/95 and 6/19/03)
- They meet income criteria
Young people who are selected will work this summer from June 26 to August 4. Orientation begins the week of June 19. More information and the application can be found at the Learn and Earn webpage. To allow more young people the opportunity to apply for the six-week, paid summer jobs program, the application deadline has been extended to 11:00 pm on Saturday, June 3.
