Get geared up, get your bike, get mechanical support, and take an awesome tour of green space projects by Grounded and their partners! This year, Grounded’s Bike Tour & Block Party will feature projects in Northside neighborhoods. At each stop, community partners will share their journey of transforming vacant spaces into activated places. After the guided bike tour, participants will celebrate with friends and community partners at a block party outside of Providence Connections, located at 3113 Brighton Road The family-friendly block party will feature La Palapa food truck, funnel cakes and popcorn, giant beach balls, face painting, games and treats, live music from Smokestack Lightning, and more!
The Bike Tour and Block Party will be held on Saturday, October 13 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. Tickets include the guided bike tour, breakfast and snacks along the way, and a little swag, as well as complimentary drinks and snacks at the block party. All riders will receive mechanical support before the bike tour from local bike shop, Waxing Cycles.
