Would you like to reduce stress, build awareness, and develop resilience? If so, attend a Mindfulness Meditation session hosted by Dr. Richard King. In his regular weekly sessions, Dr. King helps you focus attention on the sensations of breathing and learn how this mindfulness exercise brings about a state of physiological relaxation in minutes. You will practice a variety of exercises including belly breathing, focused attention mindful breathing, body scan, mindful walking, mindful eating, and thought watching.
The next Mindfulness Meditation session will be held on Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Unitarian House, located at 1110 Resaca Place. For more information, visit the Unitarian Universalists of Greater Pittsburgh Meetup page.
