The North Side Youth Mountain Bike Club gives middle school and high school students a chance to ride bikes in a safe and fun environment at Riverview Park. The idea is to get outside, have fun, learn something new, get some exercise, and make friends along the way! Everyone is welcome, especially kids who are totally new to mountain biking! Don’t have a bike? No problem! The Bike Club is doing fundraising and partnering with Bear Dog Cycles, so that every kid who wants to ride will be able to!
The North Side Youth Mountain Bike Club is part of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League. Trained coaches will provide skill-appropriate instruction, so kids can learn safely and at their own pace.
Registration and Open House for the North Side Youth Mountain Bike Club will be held on Wednesday, May 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Riverview Park Visitor Center, located at 1 Riverview Avenue.
