Parks Listening Tour Phase Two: The Parks Plan

Earlier this year, the City of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy embarked on a Parks Listening Tour. At many community meetings and events throughout the city, they gathered feedback on what neighbors loved about their parks, and what they would want to improve.

During Phase Two of the Parks Listening Tour, a series of community meetings are again being held throughout the city where you and your neighbors can hear directly from Parks Conservancy and City of Pittsburgh leaders about the positive changes coming to your parks. You will learn about plans for improved park safety, increased fair funding and access, and upgraded maintenance and facilities for all existing city parks, that will leave a legacy for our children and grandchildren. The Parks Plan is being developed with community input.

You are invited to join your neighbors at the next Northside Phase Two of the Parks Listening Tour meeting that will be held on Wednesday, October 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Riverview United Presbyterian Church, located at 3505 Perrysville Avenue. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Childcare will be provided. For more information, or to register, visit the Parks Listening Tour II: The Parks Plan event page. Plan to be part of the conversation that will improve and maintain our parks!
