Thursday, March 15 from 8:00 to 9:30 pm
In honor of Women’s History Month, you are invited to join musicians of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra for a program celebrating female artists. Facilitated by conductor and educator Christine Hestwood, this program entitled Inspiration and Tenacity will explore the unique journeys of four women. The program will also highlight the world premiere of the Tuba Concerto by Grammy Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Jennifer Higdon.

This event is part of the PSO @ COA series, a new collaboration which explores the creative intersection of music, art, and spoken word at Alphabet City.
