Who makes the best sandwiches on the Northside? Now in its 7th year, Northside Sandwich Week highlights the sandwich-making skills of select Northside restaurants, bars, and delis. From Friday, May 17 until Sunday, May 27, you can sample signature sandwiches at the participating Northside restaurants, and then cast a vote for your Favorite Northside Sandwich Joint!
This year’s Northside Sandwich Week participants include: Apizza Badamo, Brugge on North, Chateau Cafe and Cakery, Fig & Ash, Flavors Famous Street Foods, Huszar, Kaffeehaus, Legends Eatery, North Shore Deli, Penn Brewery, Rivers Casino, Threadbare Cider and Mead, and more.
Sandwich Sampler #7: The French Bread Connection
Kicking off Northside Sandwich Week will be the Sandwich Sampler #7: The French Bread Connection on Thursday, May 17 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Grand Hall of the Priory. Attendees get to sample the new sandwich creations from all of the participating restaurants and vote for the Northside Sandwich King or Queen of 2018. The event will also feature a beer garden with specialty craft beers from Penn Brewery and entertainment by The Olga Watkins Band and Rox Performance Academy.
