Zen Studies Series: Kotoku Ray Crivello
Saturday, August 19 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Come to Alphabet City when City of Asylum hosts Practicing the Buddha Way with Zen Priest Kotoku Ray Crivello. Crivello is a Zen Priest in the Soto Zen tradition in the Lineage of Gengo Akiba Roshi, Sokan or Bishop, Administrative Head of the North American Region of the Japanese Soto School. This second session will focus on the Paramitas or Perfections, the Four Abodes, the Fundamentals of Mindfulness and Meditation. Time for discussion and Zazen meditation will be included. No advanced knowledge necessary. Seating is limited! Two seminar classes are $25 each or $40 for both. Suggested Donation is through Zen Center of Pittsburgh.
