At this 21+ Night event at the Carnegie Science Center, Pittsburgh Ballet dancers will stretch their muscles and show off their dance expertise, demonstrating the science of dance and exercise. Guests are invited to practice basic ballet poses and learn how dancers keep from getting dizzy as they spin.
A green-screen photography booth will offer visitors a chance to strike a pose for the camera with any location as the backdrop.
Nightly Standard, a local, seven-piece rock-soul-jazz band will provide the evening’s soundtrack with performances in the Science Center’s Robo Lounge. For a few dollars more, visitors can watch an Omnimax movie on Pittsburgh’s biggest screen or catch a laser show in the Buhl Planetarium.
The 21+ Night: Dance event will be held at the Carnegie Science Center on Friday, January 16, from 6:00 until 10:00 pm. As always, 21+ Night features cash bars and snacks available for purchase. For more information, visit the 21+ Night event page.
