40 North Restaurant and Bar has opened its doors at Alphabet City!  Executive Chef Bethany Zozula brings her nearly twenty years of culinary experience to the restaurant. Chef Beth is a James Beard Award nominee and was most recently the Executive Chef for the Ace Hotel’s Whitfield Restaurant.

Taking inspiration from City of Asylum’s mission as a nonprofit and safe place, Chef Beth is focused on food from around the globe as a way to connect to our shared heritage and food as a way to feel a sense of home. Her vision for the restaurant is a perfect fit for City of Asylum.

40 North is located in Alphabet City at 40 West North Avenue. Its hours of operation are:

• Tuesday through Thursday from 5-9 pm
• Friday and Saturday from 5-10 pm
