The Mexican War Streets House & Garden Tour is the oldest and finest house tour in the city of Pittsburgh. During the 47th annual event, held from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 11, visitors will be treated to a leisurely, self-guided tour of homes and gardens throughout our historic neighborhood.
Would you like to be a House Tour volunteer? Volunteers are needed to help homeowners welcome and guide guests through their houses during the tour. The volunteer shifts are from 11 am to 1 pm, 1 to 3 pm, and 3 to 5 pm. As a thank you for volunteering, you will receive a complimentary admission to the House Tour, a light breakfast and lunch at the Hospitality House, and will be able to attend the After-Tour party. If you are interested in being a volunteer, contact Cindy Nichols and let her know what shift you are interested in.
Tour ticket sales will begin on Monday, August 1 and will be available for purchase online. Advance tickets are $18 per person, and $20 per person on Tour Day at the ticket booth on Monterey Street at West North Avenue.
