As part of the Allegheny City Historic Gallery Lost Northside Neighborhood Reunion Series, ACHG presents a Reunion of Northside’s 9th Ward. Originally known as Swiss Hole in Allegheny City, this historic Northside neighborhood was another area uprooted to make way for I-279.
If you lived on Progress Street, Carpenter Way, Chesbro Street, River Avenue, Saw Mill Way, North Canal Street, South Canal Street, Warfield Street, Voeghtly Street, Madison Avenue or Chestnut Street this is the Reunion for you! Bring your personal photos to show and scan. The cost of this event is $10. There will be food, drinks and music for you to enjoy.
