Visit the Allegheny Observatory on Friday, August 17 to hear the lecture, “Unraveling the Universe with Gravitational Waves.” This lecture will be given by Natália Tenorio Maia from the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Pittsburgh.
This event is part of the 2018 Public Lecture Series that is offered at the Allegheny Observatory every third Friday of the month. The night starts at 7:00 pm with light refreshments. The lecture begins at 7:30 pm and lasts approximately one hour. After the lecture, there will be a tour of the building.
