Artists Image Resource Presents Active Voice Exhibition

Artists Image Resource (AIR) presents the Active Voice Project, a series of events and workshops that will culminate in a community driven exhibition of artwork in response to the new administration. AIR’s goal as an organization has always been to provide support for artists, not only in terms of resources but also as a platform for expression and a catalyst for action. Much has changed over the past months, and AIR believes strongly that now is the time for artists and the community to actively voice their concerns about the present and future of this nation.

AIR has put out an Open Call for Artwork for the Active Voice Exhibition. This exhibition will not be juried. All artwork that is delivered will be exhibited. All media welcome. The artwork will progressively take over AIR’s building, beginning on the first floor. As time progresses, the work will be rehung, culminating in the closing event on Saturday, March 11.

Artists Image Resource is located at 518 Foreland Street in Historic Deutschtown. The exhibit will run from Friday, January 20 until Saturday, March 11. For more information about the Exhibit and the Open Call for Artwork, visit the Active Voice event page, or email
