Meet the National Aviary Maker of the Month: Myles Geyman

The National Aviary Maker Challenge is a new initiative recently launched that gives 18 local makers the opportunity to work with the National Aviary in a first-of-its-kind collaboration to advance artistic entrepreneurship. The Maker Challenge features one local craft business, maker enterprise, or entrepreneurial artist each month.

The Maker of the Month is Myles Geyman of Stak Ceramics. Myles has created mugs, dishes, pie birds, planters, and coasters inspired by the Aviary’s Keel-billed Toucans. Visitors will have an opportunity to Meet the Maker on Saturday, July 14 at 11:00 am when Myles will be at the National Aviary doing a ceramics demonstration. Meet the Maker is included with the price of admission.
