You are Invited to the Better Planet Film Series at Wigle Barrel House
Pennsylvania Resources Council is working with Allegheny CleanWays to host a Better Planet Film and Discussion Series. Learn more about issues such as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, water bottle bans, extensive recycling projects, and much more! Stick around after the film to talk with local experts about how these issues relate to us, the Greater Pittsburgh Area, and the planet!
Come to Wigle Whiskey Barrel House for the kickoff event of the 2016 Films for a Better Planet Film Series as they screen the 2015 documentary, Racing to Zero, in Pursuit of Zero Waste. Racing To Zero is a quick-moving, upbeat documentary presenting new solutions to the global problem of waste. The film focuses on the city of San Francisco as they take steps to go completely zero waste by 2020.
The Better Planet Film Series Kickoff Event is free and takes place on Friday, May 6, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Wigle Whiskey Barrel House, located at 1055 Spring Garden Avenue. While at the event, you can head over to the tasting room for a Wigle Whiskey cocktail or visit the Franktuary Food Truck for quality hot dogs!
