New Hazlett Theater is more than just a building. It’s an incubator for artists. The Theater embraces a broad range of artists and arts organizations, hosting diverse audiences and encouraging the success of Pittsburgh’s performing arts community. In addition, it creates an energetic arena for arts events and community dialogue in its Northside neighborhood.

Beyond Microtonal Music Festival
Friday, February 28 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm
Grammy award-winning guitarist, composer, author, and broadcaster, John Schneider, performs music by Lou Harrison, as well as his own compositions for microtonal guitar. Brightwork newmusic from Los Angeles performs music by Eric Moe, Amy Williams, Federico Garcia, and Mathew Rosenblum. This performance is presented by the University of Pittsburgh and The Andy Warhol Museum.
