‘Books For Change’ Book Drive at City of Asylum Bookstore

City of Asylum Bookstore is partnering with the University of Pittsburgh’s Office of Child Development for its annual Books For Change Book Drive. This year’s theme is Raising Antiracist Readers. The Office of Child Development has worked to support social justice and racial equity, and this year’s books reflect that aim. Each title promotes positive racial identity development in children. Can you help to provide books to schools and childcare facilities throughout the Pittsburgh region?

How Do You Donate Books?

Purchase one (or more) books from City of Asylum’s Raising Antiracist Readers Book Drive List during the month of November. After you place your order, the books will automatically be shipped to the store. Members of the Pitt community will make sure that all of the books are delivered to a variety of locations throughout the Pittsburgh region, all of which serve young children.
