Carnegie Science Center Hosts 21+ Night: Glass

Carnegie Science Center is teaming up with Pittsburgh Glass Center to host its next 21+ Night: Glass. You will have an opportunity to explore the science of melting glass while you witness glass artists at work. Learn about naturally forming glass such a fulgarite – glass made when lightning strikes sand. You can make your own colorful fused-glass tile for an additional fee.

21+ Night: Glass will be held on Friday, November 11, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm at Carnegie Science Center. As always, 21+ Night features cash bars, snacks available for purchase, and the chance to experience four floors of hands-on exhibits – with no kids! Participants will receive a discount on Omnimax and Laser Shows that are playing that evening. For more information, or to purchase your ticket, visit the 21+ Night webpage.
