Join Tom Roberts, pianist and arranger, in the Theater of the Children’s Museum as he performs his own music written to accompany Charlie Chaplin’s movie: The Rink.
Tom Roberts is one of the leading exponents of early jazz piano in the world today. He has performed on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, and A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor. Tom arranged and performed the music for the soundtrack of Martin Scorsese’s film The Aviator, starring Leonardo di Caprio, as well as several titles for the film DeLovely.
Charlie Chaplin Silent Picture Show will be held on Friday, May 12 at the Children’s Museum. Showtimes are scheduled for 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 1:30 pm in the Theater.
