Ascendance is… community… collaboration… a culture that is the next generation of innovation in dance.
To celebrate the dance community in Pittsburgh, RAE Productions and Millennium Dance Complex are proud to present a showcase that highlights the diverse talents of choreographers and dancers in this vibrant city.
Ascendance will include performances by theCOMPANY and Apprentice dancers at Millennium Pittsburgh and will feature choreography by artists including Lindsay Nelko, Lance and Danielle Guillermo, Eddie Moody, Scott Romani, Cammi Nevarez, Benjamin Belhumeur, LJ Duncan, Shayla Pringle, Leah Maurizio, Brittany DeWeese, and Shane Kesneck. The show will also include performances by Pittsburgh-based dance companies KG Dynasty (Gabriel Ash) and Textures Contemporary Ballet (Kelsey Bartman).
