City of Asylum Presents Digital Storytelling: Building Bridges

City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue, is the permanent home for City of Asylum programming and the arts. It promises to be a hub for Pittsburgh’s readers and writers, jazz and small-scale music and performance, and artistic experimentation. It is a home for diverse voices from around the globe – a place where Pittsburgh meets the world and the world meets Pittsburgh. It also serves as a home for many partnering artists and organizations in our own community. To view all of the events that are scheduled, visit the Alphabet City website.

Digital Storytelling: Building Bridges
Saturday, February 8 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm
Come to Alphabet City for an afternoon of Digital Storytelling through video, music, and various media platforms. This special multicultural event highlights the personal stories of African and African American adults living in Northview Heights through autobiographical videos of their own creation. Each adult compiled and edited material for a three-minute documentary showcasing an event of particular significance in their lives.
