Fifty Years of the Cosmic Microwave Background

Visit the Allegheny Observatory on Friday, July 17, at 7:30 pm to hear the lecture, “Fifty Years of the Cosmic Microwave Background.” This lecture will be given by Arthur Kosowsky, from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh.

This event is part of the 2015 Public Lecture Series that is offered at the Allegheny Observatory every third Friday of the month. The night starts at 7:00 pm with light refreshments. The lecture begins at 7:30 pm and lasts approximately one hour. After the lecture, there will be a tour of the building. Reservations are required for this event.
