Free Friday Walking Tour of Gateway Center

Explore the Gateway Center area of Downtown Pittsburgh on a free guided walking tour with Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation. You’ll see eleven buildings constructed during Pittsburgh’s Renaissance, set within landscaped plazas, and view Point State Park from Commonwealth Place. Gateway Center and Point State Park now compose the Pittsburgh Renaissance Historic District, nominated by PHLF, and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The Free Friday Walking Tour: Gateway Center will be held each Friday in May from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Participants should meet at the Gateway “T” Station, on Stanwix Street near Liberty Avenue. Reservations are appreciated. To register, email marylu@phlf.org or call 412-471-5808 ext 527. For more information, visit the Free Friday Walking Tour: Gateway Center event page. To see all of the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation events, view the PHLF calendar.
