Free Youth Open Studio at Artists Image Resource

Youth Open Studio is a collaboration between The Andy Warhol Museum and Artists Image Resource (AIR), an artist-run printmaking facility. Teens learn the photographic silkscreen printing process, experiment with new art-making tools and techniques, and work on independent projects in a relaxed, creative environment.

The studio at AIR is open from 4:00 to 8:00 pm each Wednesday until August 30 for youth ages 13 to 18,. The sessions are staffed by The Warhol’s artist educators. There is no fee to visit, watch, or learn, but youth pay between $5–10 for each silkscreen needed for independent projects. Artists Image Resource is located at 518 Foreland Street in Historic Deutschtown. For more information, visit the Youth Open Studio event page.
