Preserving the Harvest: Freezing and Drying Vegetables

Come to the Freezing and Drying Vegetables Hands-On Workshop at Carnegie Library – Allegheny to learn how to preserve safe, high quality food using the guidelines from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Take home printed directions and recipes. 

The Preserving the Harvest: Freezing and Drying Vegetables Workshop is offered in partnership with Penn State Extension. The Workshop is scheduled on Saturday, August 18 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm at Carnegie Library – Allegheny. The presenter is Cindy Javor, registered Dietitian and Nutritionist.
