Girls Write Pittsburgh is the city’s only program designed to empower girl-identifying teens through the creative expression of writing, exposing them to a world of opportunity through the craft. Girls Write Pittsburgh holds a weekly Creative Writing Workshop on the Northside. The workshops focus on a theme of mental health, although all writing topics are welcome!

The Girls Write Pittsburgh: Northside Creative Writing Workshop will be held from Wednesday, September 5 until Wednesday, December 19 from 5:00 until 6:00 pm at Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue. The workshops are free and accessible. To register, you can simply show up to a workshop and fill out an application, or you can register online ahead of time.
