Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church is holding a Healthy Conflict Workshop on Saturday, May 6, and you are invited.
The morning session, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, is open to all and will focus on healthy relationships in congregations, including congregational dynamics and anxiety in times of change. The workshop will also cover the issue of “how to speak with one another across our various social and political differences.”
The afternoon session, from 1:00 to 3:15 pm, is for congregational leaders and anyone else who might be interested in becoming part of the Right Relations Team. This session will include more detail on conflict and its stages, the role of leadership in times of conflict and anxiety, as well as basic mediation training and how to get help if conflict escalates.
Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church is located at 416 West North Avenue. More information can be found on the Healthy Conflict Workshop event page.
