Heart Bombs Are Coming to the Northside!

The Young Preservationists Association team is bringing Heart Bombs to Pittsburgh! Started by Young Preservationists in Buffalo, New York in 2012, the Heart Bomb Project is a cheeky campaign with a positive punch. The premise is simple: Construct old-fashioned valentines to your favorite places that need some love, then shower them with affection on Valentine’s Day to show everyone how much you really care.

YPA has already made their hearts and they will be spreading the love around Pittsburgh on Saturday, February 13 and Sunday, February 14. Two of the places they will be Heart Bombing on Saturday are right here in our neighborhood on the Northside: Drover’s Hotel on Buena Vista Street and the Allegheny Commons’ Pedestrian Bridge

If you want to join the Young Preservationists for the Heart Bomb Tour that will be held on Saturday, February 13, participants should meet at 10:00 am at the Old Stone Tavern, located at 434 Greentree Road in the West End. The group will be stopping at Allegheny Commons’ Pedestrian Bridge at 11:00 am, and at the Drover’s Hotel at 11:30 am. For more information, visit the YPA Heart Bombs event page.
