Hop into History with the Multitalented Martin Delany

Early learners from ages 3-5 are invited to virtually join Heinz History Center for Hop into History, an interactive online session exploring the people, places, and stories that make Pittsburgh unique!

This Hop into History session will feature the story of Martin Delany, a Black doctor and newspaper publisher who lived in Pittsburgh. Follow his story through an issue of his newspaper, The Mystery. Learn how doctors used leeches, and see how Martin tried to make things better for the community.

Hop into History is free and will take place virtually on Wednesday, August 11 from 10:30 to 11:00 am. For more information, or to register for your free virtual seat, visit the Hop into History: The Multitalented Martin Delany event page. If you have questions, email Nate Rodda.
