Fall 2018 City Wide Public Safety Meeting: Human Trafficking

The State of Human Trafficking in the Pittsburgh Region

Every day adults and children are forced into prostitution, the sex trade, or domestic and field labor. All with the promise of a better life… that never happens. You are invited to meet those in law enforcement who are working to break this modern day slavery. Listen to the experts describe the effects and trauma this causes these individuals. And find out how you can help make your community safer.

The City of Pittsburgh’s Public Safety Department will hold a city wide meeting to discuss The State of Human Trafficking in the Pittsburgh Region on Wednesday, October 17 at The Pittsburgh Project, located at 2801 North Charles Street. A light dinner will be served at 6:00 pm, and the meeting will begin at 6:30 pm.
