City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue, is the permanent home for City of Asylum programming and the arts. It is a hub for Pittsburgh’s readers and writers, jazz and small-scale music and performance, and artistic experimentation. It is a home for diverse voices from around the globe – a place where Pittsburgh meets the world and the world meets Pittsburgh. Spanning Smooth Funk, Jazz, World, Brazilian and many other styles, this Dwayne Dolphin release brings something for everyone to the table. Local jazz stand out Dwayne Dolphin is a mainstay in the jazz scene, working with Pittsburgh greats such as Roger Humphries, Pete Henderson and Carl Arter. Dwayne Dolphin’s vast and diverse experience has afforded him the opportunity to lend his musical expertise in many areas. Featured Musicians for the evening are Brett Williams on piano, Tony Watson on sax, Jevon Rushton on drums, and Dwayne Dolphin on bass.
