Free Evening of Jazz with Pittsburgh Saxophonist Tony Campbell

City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue, is the permanent home for City of Asylum programming and the arts. It promises to be a hub for Pittsburgh’s readers and writers, jazz and small-scale music and performance, and artistic experimentation. It is a home for diverse voices from around the globe – a place where Pittsburgh meets the world and the world meets Pittsburgh. Come to Alphabet City for a free evening of jazz with Pittsburgh Saxophonist Tony Campbell. Campbell plays straight ahead jazz inspired by the legendary masters such as Coltrane, Parker, and Turrentine. In addition to performing regularly around town, Tony is actively involved with Jazz education. Tony will be joined by musicians Antonio Croes on piano, Miles Jackson on bass, Ben Sherman on guitar, and Paul Keys on drums.
