Jazz Workshop: Thumbscrew

Come to the City of Asylum for a Jazz Workshop with the band Thumbscrew. The workshop is open to musicians and non-musicians alike. Thumbscrew will perform examples of their music and discuss their backgrounds as musicians as well as the process of becoming a band, composing, rehearsing and performing together. The workshop enables participants to get an inside view of the ensemble.

The FREE Jazz Workshop: Thumbscrew will be held on Tuesday, June 30 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at City of Asylum. No minimum age to participate. Please contact Rachel Webber to reserve your spot. The workshop is free, but space is limited.

Thumbscrew has been making inviting music full of wonder and discovery from creative catalysts on jazz’s adventurous frontiers for more than three decades.
