Joel Pace Organ Trio
Sunday, July 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Alphabet City presents an evening of jazz with the Joel Pace Organ Trio. The trio plays jazz in the style popularized by the great organ groups of the 1950’s and 60’s. Groups led by organists such as Jimmy Smith and Groove Holmes, and guitarists like Wes Montgomery and George Benson, used the format to craft a powerful sound that could run the gamut from R & B influenced cookers to swinging jazz standards and lush ballads.
