Bastille Day is coming soon, and what better way to celebrate the second great revolution of the people than to raise a glass in honor of the French. During the July Al Fresco Wine Tasting at the Priory, you will be tasting four wines from four different regions of France, from the Loire Valley to Beaujolais. Host of the evening will be Rob McCaughey of Dreadnought Wines. The theme of the night is Storm The Bastille!
The Al Fresco Wine Tasting will be held on Thursday, July 16, starting at 6:30 pm, at The Priory, located at 614 Pressley Street in neighboring Deutschtown. Weather permitting, the wine tasting will take place in the Priory’s garden courtyard. Wines are accompanied by heavy hors d’oeuvres created by executive chefs Pete Phillipy and Mike Henney, along with a display of imported cheeses and fruit.
