Laura Leigh Morris will be visiting City Books where she will read from her new collection of short stories Jaws of Life, published by Vandalia Press this year.
Laura Leigh Morris lives in Greenville, South Carolina, where she teaches creative writing and literature at Furman University. Originally from north central West Virginia, all of her fiction is set there, the place she is most at home. From the landscape, to the rich variety of people, to the long history of resource extraction, the region serves as a rich backdrop to both her life and her stories. Jaws of Life is her first book. She is currently hard at work on her first novel.
Laura Leigh Morris will be reading at City Books on Saturday, July 7 at 7:00 pm. For more information, visit the City Books event page. City Books is located at 908 Galveston Avenue in Allegheny West.
