The August Wilson African American Cultural Center‘s new virtual series, AW Studio Sessions, is an intimate music experience with the most talented musicians on the scene, LIVE in studio. Award-Winning Vocalist, Lyndsey Morgan Smith, formally dubbed “The God-Daughter of Soul,” has been moving the hearts of listeners all over the world.
Lyndsey is known as an artist that truly makes an audience feel pain and triumph as soon as she hits her first note. Known for her gritty, powerhouse vocals, and live shows that will send spectators on an emotional rollercoaster, Smith sings with a sound reminiscent of the best parts of Soul music. As an activist for social justice, and advocate for women of all shapes, sizes, and ethnicities, Lyndsey prides herself as being a timeless “voice for the people”.
