GTECH and One Northside are working with Northsiders to plan a trail system that would connect all 18 neighborhoods in the Northside. This trail system would show off the assets of each neighborhood and make it easier for residents and visitors to connect to all the Northside has to offer. This project builds off of resident-identified goals from the One Northside Consensus Planning Process.
After attending community meetings during April and May to get initial feedback, GTECH and One Northside are now seeking detailed feedback. They are extending an invitation to all Northside neighbors to participate in an event that is coming up this month for Northsiders to help determine routes for the trail, enjoy snacks, and meet neighbors. There are two dates and locations to accommodate everyone’s busy schedules:
- Tuesday, May 17 at 6:30 pm – Locust Grove Shelter in Riverview Park
- Thursday, May 19 at 6:30 pm – McKnight Playground in Manchester
