MCG Jazz Celebrates 31st Annual Jazz Concert Series with Earl Klugh

Celebrating their 31st year, the mission of MCG Jazz is to preserve, present and promote jazz. Through their performances, they strive to strengthen the long time Pittsburgh jazz community and contribute to the overall cultural and artistic diversity of the region. Concerts are performed at Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild, located at 1815 Metropolitan Street

Since Grammy-winner Earl Klugh released his inaugural album in 1976, the Detroit-born master of the acoustic-classical guitar has become one of the most imitated icons of the instrument. He has released over 40 records, 24 of which have been on Billboard’s top-10 list of jazz albums, and 6 of which have made it to the #1 slot. Klugh’s recordings have received 13 Grammy nominations. This concert at MCG Jazz will feature Klugh’s favorite standards, influences, and collaborations from throughout his illustrious career.
