Poet and Jazz Musician, Moe Seager, Performs at Alphabet City
City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue, is the permanent home for City of Asylum programming and the arts. It is a hub for Pittsburgh’s readers and writers, jazz and small-scale music and performance, and artistic experimentation. Deutschtown Music Festival Presents: Moe Seager

Moe Seager’s history as a poet, jazz musician, and jazz dance project creator is extensive. Seager has published six collections of poetry in English and his work has been translated in French and Arabic in complete collections. From 2011 through the present, Seager has co-created a series of Jazz Dance Poem performances with the Pillow Project Jazz Dance Company of Pittsburgh. These creations are performed in Pittsburgh, New York, and Paris.
