Saturday Light Brigade Helps You Create a Mother’s Day CD Card or Voice Prints
With a Mother’s Day CD Card, you will create a one-of-a-kind gift for mom, grandma, aunt, or any special woman in your life. Saturday Light Brigade staff will conduct an interview about that special person and record it on a CD that can be decorated, affixed to a special card, and brought home that day. Kids and adults can record alone or together and can also record a special song or poem that will be cherished for a lifetime.
If you prefer, you can say and display “I love you” by making a Voice Print featuring a waveform depicting the unique sound of your voice that you can decorate, frame and take home.
The workshop to create a Mother’s Day CD Card or Voice Print will be held on select days starting on Saturday, April 29 at the Saturday Light Brigade Radio Studio, located in the Theater of the Children’s Museum. Proceeds benefit SLB programs for youth and families. Sessions are on a first come, first served basis.
