Movement & Making with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre

Join Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and the Children’s Museum in a virtual movement and making workshop for students in grades K-5 (plus any families, pets, friends, and toys who might like to come along).

In this workshop, participants will uncover the parts and pieces that create a character onstage. How does movement make a character? What kind of props help tell their story? What clues can music provide about a character? Through movement and creative use of household objects, you’ll be dancing your way through a special mystery piece of music in no time. All you need is your imagination and plenty of room to move!

Movement & Making will take place virtually on Saturday, August 22 from 10:00 to 10:45 pm. The program is free and takes place via Zoom. For more information, or to register, visit the Movement & Making with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre + the Children’s Museum event page.
