Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation’s Greatest Saves Bus Tour

Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation (PHLF) invites you to join the Greatest Saves Bus Tour – a full-day excursion in celebration of PHLF’s 54th birthday. The day includes light refreshments at various locations and lunch, and the opportunity to hear from staff, trustees, and members about some of PHLF’s “Greatest Saves.”

From Station Square, the tour will cross the West End Bridge to explore PHLF’s Northside roots, with stops in Manchester, the Mexican War Streets, and the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. You will head east to Wilkinsburg to stroll through the Hamnett Place neighborhood and visit the Landmarks Preservation Resource Center. In Downtown Pittsburgh, you will explore the Market Square area and the buildings PHLF has developed, before returning to Station Square for a celebratory toast at the Grand Concourse.

Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation’s Greatest Saves Bus Tour will take place Sunday, September 30 from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. For more information, or to make a reservation, email Mary Lu Denny or call 412-471-5808, ext 527.
