Picklesburgh on the Rachel Carson Bridge

Picklesburgh: The Destination for All Things Pickled

If you’re a pickle fanatic or just pickle curious, make a plan to be on the Rachel Carson Bridge when it’s transformed into Picklesburgh

The Picklesburgh Festival is a culinary celebration that goes beyond the dill pickle to include international dishes, prepared foods, and artisan cocktails that feature pickled ingredients. It is an embrace of the farm-to-table movement and the rising popularity of canning, with a selection of handcrafted foods and artisan cocktails from local restaurants, informative how-to demos, and author talks. Merchandise such as pickled goods, books and DIY products will be for sale, while local musicians and genres grace the stage. All this, plus a giant flying pickle, set to the backdrop of a glorious Downtown Pittsburgh.

Picklesburgh 2016 will be held on Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 on the Rachel Carson Bridge from 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm. For more information, including a detailed schedule of events, visit the Picklesburgh website.
