Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra with Hubert Laws

The Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra (PJO), co-directed by Sean Jones and Mike Tomaro, celebrates Pittsburgh’s rich jazz history in the here and now by uniting Pittsburgh jazz musicians of all ages and ethnic backgrounds to perform the broad scope jazz styles in an orchestral format. Central to the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra mission is the creation of new works that advance the genre. The PJO with guest NEA Jazz Master, Hubert Laws, will feature both new compositions and new arrangements.

Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra with Hubert Laws will perform on Saturday, April 2 at 6:00 pm, and again at 8:30 pm at MCG Jazz, located at 1815 Metropolitan Street in Manchester. For more information, or to purchase your ticket, visit the PJO with Hubert Laws event page.
