Visit the Allegheny Observatory on Friday, May 15, at 7:30 pm to hear the lecture, “Plate Tectonics and Morphology; Earth, Mars and Beyond…” This lecture will be given by Nadine McQuarrie of the Department of Geology and Planetary Science at the University of Pittsburgh.
This event is part of the 2015 Public Lecture Series that is offered at the Allegheny Observatory every third Friday of the month. The night starts at 7:00 pm with light refreshments. The lecture begins at 7:30 pm and lasts approximately one hour. After the lecture, there will be a tour of the building. Reservations are required for this event.
